Here's a little about myself,

My name is Kim, I'm also known as "The One Arm Wondermom." I'm your average wife and mom, but also part superhero! My superpowers come from my limb difference, I use my powers by educating and empowering not only those with limb differences but also anyone who feels different by helping them find their own superpowers.

I'm a busy mom to 3 beautiful, very energetic boys, wife to a US Coast Guardsman, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Author and Motivational Speaker. It seems to be, the less hands you have the busier you are! I have always been a helper. Throughout my childhood I would be the first to lend a hand to help others, and continued helping others through my professional career. As a COTA I have worked in multiple states and various settings, my favorite being within the schools. I was able to help children with various differences and disabilities function within a school environment. As I began having my children I obviously take care of them and have taken care of my grandparents and father during this time as well. Like I said, it's innate in me to help. I have continued my helpful nature by realizing I can reach more people if I were to share my story in a different vehicle, such as a book. So, I wrote my first book and published in March 2018. I continue to share my book and story of life as a limb different person through various events and speaking within the school systems. It's something I wish I saw as a child, people just like me, but also adults who had achieved what I wanted, finding love, having a family and just being seen as "normal."
